A cozy family retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was super friendly and helped us with an early check-in. The two queen beds felt great, and the room was cozy. Loved the warm pool and the tasty breakfast with waffles. The only thing was the pool area could use an update. But overall, it was a nice time for our family.

easy access to parks and city attractions for weekend wanderers

i had a really great time enjoying the nearby Hopeville Pond State Park, just under 5 kilometers away, where i took a peaceful stroll and soaked in the beautiful natural scenery with trails. Being only a short drive from some fantastic local landmarks made it easy to explore and savor the local atmosphere during my weekend.

The complimentary breakfast offered plenty of options, and the hotel's location made it easy to explore nearby attractions like Mohegan Sun.

My children wanted better ventilation in the pool area.

Just a fitting option for a weekend getaway in Griswold with attractive and competitive value for money. The microwave and fridge in the room were great, a rare find these days! Be sure to check the pool hours for a quieter swim.

I found the comforter stained with makeup, and there were remnants of soap left from previous guests. Additionally, the headboard had grease marks that clearly indicated a lack of thorough cleaning.

On the downside, our room had a weak Wi-Fi connection, which got annoying at times. Also, the pool area was a bit too busy when we first arrived, making it hard to enjoy. However, as soon as we could go early in the morning, it was much more pleasant. The overall maintenance of the hotel could use some improvement, as I noticed some areas that looked worn and could be cleaner. Nonetheless, the positives outweighed the negatives, and we had a memorable stay.

We had a great time, especially enjoying the late pool hours and the delicious hot breakfast, which was always fresh and varied each morning. Absolutely would stay again!

Family Vacation in a Comfortable Suite

The pool was one of the best I’ve seen warm and clean and open late. Had a nice family moment every evening after long days just relaxing in the hot tub.
